Masters Engine is run by one person, Juho Repo, in Finland. There is no company behind it yet and no analytics on this site. What follows is the whole of it.
For questions, corrections or deletions, write to juho@mastersengine.com. I answer these myself.
What the form collects
If you ask for a place in the test group, the form takes three things: your email address, your age group, and the name of the last programme you paid for. Nothing else. There is no tracking pixel on the page and no advertising network involved.
Your age group tells me whether the test group covers the range it needs to. The last programme tells me what you have already tried. Both are optional in the sense that you can leave the page instead — but the form will not submit without them, because a test group picked at random would not be a test.
Why I am allowed to hold it
Consent. You typed your address into a form asking to be contacted, and Kit sends a confirmation email that you have to click before you are on the list at all. You can withdraw that consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by writing to me. Withdrawing it does not make the earlier emails unlawful, it just stops the next one.
Who else sees it
The list lives in Kit, an email service based in the United States, which processes it on my behalf under standard contractual clauses. Kit can see your address because it is the thing sending the mail. Nobody else has access, and I do not sell, rent, share or trade the list — there is no version of this business where that would help me.
How long I keep it
Until you unsubscribe, or until you ask me to delete it, whichever comes first. If the test group never happens, I will delete the list rather than sit on it.
The app itself
The training app at app.mastersengine.com has no accounts and no server. Your capacity tests, training maxes and logged sessions are stored in your own browser, on your own device, and never leave it. I cannot see them. This also means clearing your browser data deletes your training history — the app can export everything to CSV or JSON, and that export is the only backup that exists.
Cookies and third parties
This page sets no cookies and loads nothing from anyone else. The fonts are served from this domain rather than from Google, so visiting here does not tell a third party that you did. The form posts to Kit only at the moment you submit it.
Your rights

- Have it corrected if it is wrong
- Have it deleted
- Withdraw consent and stop the emails
- Complain to the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi) if I handle any of the above badly
